Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do you travel for destination weddings?

I am willing to travel anywhere in Columbia county. However- anything past that is charged extra for a travel fee!! I'm currently in Georgia, so anything outside of SC and Georgia will be added for flight purchases as well.


I look forward to capturing weddings all over the United States. I have photographed in California, Nevada, Utah, South Carolina, and Georgia.

2. Why do you require a non- refundable retaining fee?

Retaining fees are typically $50 down to hold your spot on my calendar, but bigger sessions like Weddings, Events, and Extended family sessions I require a larger amount for a retaining fee.


I require a non refundable retaining fee to hold myself and my future clients accountable for the scheduled session we have both committed to.


The retaining fee does go towards the total amount due in the end! It is not an additional fee.

3. What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

If there is a reasonable emergency then we will without an extra fee reschedule your session. If it is just due to miscommunication or having something come up by mistake in your schedule, then the only way to reschedule your session would be with an additional fee.


As far as weather goes- if the weather is the issue as to why we need to reschedule then there will never be an additional charge to reschedule your session.


4. Do you offer mini sessions to help them be more affordable?

Yes I offer mini sessions if requested- and sometimes I may even throw in a holiday mini session but they do book out quickly.

5. Do you have a recommended videographer?

I currently do not have a Video+Photo duo, but do have recommended ones that I can share if asked!!!


Also this is a HINT HINT for any videographers who are interested in being a Video+Photo duo for Weddings.

6. Can I request specific poses or shots?

I LOVE when my clients have inspo that they would like to share with me for our session. Let's get creative together!!


On the other hand, if you do not have any inspiration or vision for our session that is 100% welcome! I will have screenshots of poses on my phone for our session vision board to capture the story you are wanting to tell.

7. Can we meet before the session?

I typically meet a lot of my clients at our sessions, but can totally hop on a FaceTime or phone call for a consultation if that is what would make you feel more comfortable.

8. How long till I receive the final photos?

Normal sessions (Newborns, Families, Portraits, Engagements) are a 2 week turnaround time


Weddings and Event sessions are a 5-8 week turnaround time.


If it somehow is taking me longer than planned to get sessions done due to emergencies, busy season, or just life in general- I will be communicating with my clients every step of the way.
